Red face Photography Business Books

A while back, while looking through some of the forum topics, there was a book about the business side of photography that some users had recommended. I neglected to write it down, and can't find where it was posted now.

If anyone knows what I'm referencing, could you please let me know what it was called, or if you have any other (affordable) suggestions for good books about the business.

Please and Thanks.

Legal Guide for Photographers.
Best Business Practices for Photographers.

I'm sure there are more, but I'm brain-fried right now.

What part of the business?

For commercial work John Harrington's Best Business Practices For Photographers ASMP.org's Profesional Business Practices for Photographers and Successful Self-Promotion for Photographers by Elyse Weissberg are worth having around.

A good book to get yearly that is also inexpensive is Photographers Market 2011. Regardless the type of photography you do, that book will help you make some additional income from your work.

For retail photography there are many books geared to specific genres like weddings, high school seniors, and traditional portraiture.

I highly recommend Dan Hellers book, A Digital Photographers Guide to Model Releases and Richard Weisgrau's book, The Photographers Guide to Negotiating.

I also recommend bookmarking the following web sites:

U.S. Copyright Office
United States Patent and Trademark Office
U.S. Small Business Administration-Your Small Business Resource
www.score.org
American Society of Media Photographers
Photo Attorney
