Whoops i forgot to add that if you put a stock image on your flyer people will automatically assume you took the photo, since its your business, so it could be called misleading advertising, you probably wont have any one get annoyed but you nevver know, its better safe than sorry.

WTH?

We're hosting Turkey Day, just got back from vacation and I got 48 orders in while we were gone. Two private sittings today, two yesterday, one on Turkey Day with a family that's coming over. Designing a web site for 01 Jan launch, prepping two promotions, one for the new venture, one for the current venture. That doesn't take into consideration ANY of the every day life activities and yet I would NEVER consider using a stock photo to advertize my own business. I do my very best to avoid using words like "never" or "always," but it fits in this case.

So, you're offering holiday shoots, with ZERO holiday portfolio? I'd recommend some of your best work put on a flyer with a holiday theme. Better to promote standard portraits if you don't have the holiday work to back up a holiday promotion to begin with. There's more to it than throwing up a tree and dropping some ornaments in place.

How would you recommend that I obtain a holiday portfolio without putting myself out there and doing it?

No worries though, I didn't use a stock photo.
