Interesting dilemma. Considering that this is your income and that it would be likely impossible to rebook a wedding with only a week's notice, I think a pretty good case could be made that canceling the contract has cost you a significant amount of income. Therefore entitling you to at least a large chunk of the fee.

Of course, what you may be entiltled to and what you want to do are two different things.

So i was correct in believing she would send it.

got an email tonight with a screen cap of the e-payment confirmation. Perhaps a tactical move on her part, it also showed her current checking acct balance... sigh.

All I'll say is that I hope I pick up some good karma for this.
