Advertising on Grace Ormonde?

Have you ever advertised your wedding photography services on Grace Ormonde?

My question is are you ready for it? Do your brides read that magazine?

What are their rates? Comparing this to The Knot which I recently started using, it looks woefully under-developed.

I don't know their rates, you would have to contact them for that. I am also not sure if advertising with them gets in their magazine and online. I think more so it comes down to the type of bride you want and are l looking for and if that type of bride reads those magazines, you know what I mean? The bride that visits The Knot is a different type than those who go to Grace Ormonde.

I was assuming the OP would have looked into the advertising rates if they were asking that question...

as to the comment about the type of bride you want and whether GO helps you access them, that's obvious. However in this case only a part of the overall question when considering the validity of advertising with them.

Looking at a couple of factors in 10 minutes of researching it, esp. circulation numbers (400k vs 1.3m) and the depth of their web offerings, unless GO's rates are substantially lower than The Knot, it would seem like a rather futile outlet for those all important advertising budget bucks.

The only saving grace for the sparse advertising section on their Platinum List Wedding Vendors were I to even look into buying space with them is that there are only two photographers listed for the whole state of Wisconsin. One is a photographer based in CA.

You can pretty much imagine that any bride faced with this as her resource would quite quickly be looking elsewhere as well.

So in answer to your question, sure if you want the severely upscale fashion conscious bride to find you, spend unspecified amounts with GO. However as a cursory glance into this situation, you can safely bet that those brides are probably looking at other resources, will be few and far between if they're that exclusive, and its a quite unpolished web presence... with the image theyre putting forward you can probably safely bet its going to be a rather huge chunk of dough though.
