No! A corporate bigwig cannot sign for anyone but themselves.

To use any of the photos for self-promotion, or for self-publishing ,you would need a model release from each person in each photo.

If you were to have multiple photos of a person, the model release can be written so that one release is good for all the images made of that person, on that date, and/or at that event.

I suggest getting the book A Digital Photographers Guide to Model Releases by Dan Heller.

I am assuming this should apply to all photographic situations. What about wedding photography? Does a wedding photographer get releases from everyone in the wedding party? What about candids at a wedding? Is the photographer supposed to get a release to use a candid of a guest in their portfolio? Or by attending a wedding where you KNOW pictures are going to be taken is your consent in implied?

To my understanding this is not true. Commercial use requires a model release, personal/business promotion and use does not.
