Have you looked at Photoshelter as an example? They've proven extremely successful in this niche.

Default Another Question :)

Hey Ladies and Fellas, thanks for all the great replies! From what I'm gathering, almost everyone has or wants an online strategy, but it seems like many are unsure of what they want out of it. Xposurepro, I'm not sure why being a photography enthusiast disqualifies me from marketing photography for pros. A good marketer sells anything, regardless. Me loving and knowing photography only gives me a leg up. So know I have another question. I would love if a few of you broke down your sales by category. Like sales through search engines, sales through word of mouth, sales through adwords, sales through phonebook, etc. And any other category you might have. I would love to see how sales are typically broken down!

Sorry, forgot to respond to the quote above. Like I mentioned in the beginning, I'm not trying to spam or promote myself, just getting some market research done. I offer services not programs, and for those interested they can send me a private message and I'll respond privately. Fair?

Everything you asked in .. now I have another question .. is exactly why I stated what I did. The answers to those questions won't even give you a clue where to start. No offense I'm just being blunt so you don't waste time that could be better invested. If you seriously want to venture into a project where you are offering marketing aid to photographers and you don't have the experience of running a pro studio then your only option is to invest a couple grand into some workshops and training from some pro studios to help get you started. Otherwise you will have absolutely nothing to bring to the table.

P.S. ... Phonebook??? Seriously???
