Here I'll give you an answer. No.... If you are this unsure of your work that you need to post a question that requires a subject to provide an answer and then become defensive when asked for said subject then you are NOT prepared to sell your photo's. FYI, this was not snarky it was a stated opinion based on the lack of evidence provided by the requester. ![]() Have a day d

You want to know if your images are good enough to sell, you want to get critiques and yet you don't/won't post a link to anything? What is the point of asking in the first place??

DPS is all about learning. If you think your work is good enough or you are looking for tips to improve your shooting then this is probably the best place to do so. Don't be shy. Everyone starts off as a beginner.
PM me a link to some of your work and I'll take a look. |

Keep this in mind. Photography is a very subjective form of art and craft and sometimes you never know what people will think of your images. That's where good marketing comes in. Your images don't always have to be the best, but if you market and present them well to the right audience, you can generate some sales and build a following.
That said, everyone here is right- get some images up here so that people can see then and offer you some advice.

The thing is, if your photography is OK but needs work, we can show you how to get better shots, in each of our own capacities. The O.P. is never going to know or learn or be praised if he never posts any work and keeps waiting for "better shots". There's no shame in posting your photos, whether they be great, good or need work. That's what DPS is for.
It's like asking for a review on a novel you've written then never wanting to hand over the manuscript. Last edited by nickbedford; 11-01-2010 at 11:28 PM. |
