Hi everyone. Last time I asked for feedback on my website everyone was brutally honest and ripped it to shreds. Taking everyone's feedback into account I have completely redesigned it.
Digicase Photography, Bridgend based professional photographer I would love to know what you think of this one, and wait with interest to hear your comments good or bad. Thanks in advance for taking the time to look and post. Lee. Last edited by ki_user; 09-26-2010 at 02:17 PM. |

Remove the splash page ("Click to enter"), remove the music, and get off Wix. For the love of god get off Wix.
Almost all the images on the slideshow on the main page are blurry. Dont know why: i presume theyre not supposed to be. No offense: I'd remove the 2nd image in the Landscapes gallery. It's nowhere near as good as the others. Contact page: Just add a bit of text above the form fields: gives it a bit more content and doesnt look like a placeholder. Otherwise, a very good and very nice site. It works. Im not a huge fan of flash, but this is quick and it works. The photos are also quite good: Keep up the great work.

I also looked at Wix when I was looking to put up a site but went instead with a hosted site... |

I agree, there's nothing worse than a Flash heavy site that takes a long time to load and that automatically plays music. Turns professional clients off every time. They don't have time for that. Do you?
And why do you actually need the "click to enter" page? What is that actually getting you? It only adds a step to the entire process, and if you look at web stats, many times people visit sites for less than ten seconds. You may not have very much time to make a good impression, and if you waste it, you may never get the visitor back.

Not to sure why the speed of loading is an issue, loaded in about a second on my machine, but I don't like how you scroll through the images, unless your dead centre on the image they keep scrolling which I find a bit of a pain. Also as mentioned on an earlier post lose the splash screen I don't think it add anything to the site.
