Default Who is going to use my photos?

Hi, I'm new to this, I've done some reading but there are some points that I need to be sure about..specially about portraits or editorial photos, my question is:

If I'm submitting my work to istockphoto or dreamstime, will I be informed about who purchased my photo, where it will be used? and do I have the right to refuse if I thought that they will use a photo inappropriately?

and what about gettyimages (if I got lucky, too lucky!) ,

Thanks

they dont tell you who bought the image.

on some sites you are able to put in a note saying if there is anythign specific you dont want them used in conjunction with.
EG. animal testing/weapons manufacture/sexual health ..... you know, that sort of stuff.

make sure you get model releases signed. You'll get more money in advertising than in editorial.

If you are worried about having your photo used inapropriately i would suggest that you rethink the stock photo idea, once some one pays for the right to use it, tough luck.

Are you worried beceause of the content or that some one is going to recognise your work?
