Default Printing your own DVD covers

Hi y'all!!

Long time no visit the forum. Business has been really slow and my day job is taking all my time now.

Anyway..... I've been looking to order some custom DVD covers from a printer with information about my business in the back and my logo and a drawn frame in the front to glue a photo from the event so I do´t deliver the pics in a plain black or transparent DVD case.

But, then, I guess I can print them. So I have questions:

1. Do you print your own or order them from a pro printer?
2. Which is cheaper?
3. If you print your own, do you use a template? Could you provide with the size and other metrics?
4. What editing program do you use? I have Photoshop Elements?
5. What information do you include in the cover?

Muchas gracias!!

I print my own, always. I don't know about cheaper, but I do it.

Purchase Avery labels and use their templates or make your own with any program: Photoshop, Elements or even Word.

That's what I do. Not hard at all.

I have a Mac and I hate when people put the labels on the CD itself. I can not get them to run on my laptop and have to take the CD to a windows computer....I know, I know not as many people have a Mac, but just in case someone else has a temperamental CD/DVD player.....

That's a new one on me. I've never heard of it.
