Default My business card?

Hey everyone!

What do you think of my business card?

I have them printed already, but they're cheap and I get to print 500 for free (http://www.clubflyers.com) every month, so I plan on getting more soon.

Any changes you would suggest? What do you think?

It's... scattered. Literally. And while a rigid structure isn't always the best thing, it's best to use some kind of grid to keep things in line. It's not a lost cause, but it wouldnt get you very far with me,

Move your email and web address down in to the corners, maybe shift you phone number down to where the web address is, line it up with the right margin. Leave your name in the strap.

I'd suggest putting your deviant art website all on one line, if I don't know what deviant art is I may assume you work for a company called deviant art rather than its your website, same with your phone number, 1 line for ease of use and try and group your contact information, I don't want to have to search your card for it.

The camera background is a cool idea but it takes up too much focus. Maybe it could be lighter/more transparent (whatever you want to call it) and the type be bold and clean so the eye jumps to the important part of the card - the info.

I agree. Just too distracting.

I think you have a good start. I agree it's busy, and I am not sure where to look or what everything is. I like the flowery background. Can move the camera over to the left (or right) and work the text around it. It doesn't really look like a business card, and while I am all about unique business cards, I feel like this is not a working solution.

Thanks, guys! I already have 1000 of these, and I got help from a graphic designer, but I will take these things into account when I go to order another batch or make a different card.

What I should have mentioned is that this is not the full crop - this is what I had to submit to the printer. The bleed lines are actually closer in. I should have included the actual scan! This is an actual (crooked, lol) scan of my card. The white is not part of it.

Thank you so much!

(I also apologize for not being back quicker; my instant emails aren't working!)

Very nice, I checked the site out. You really do get 500 cards for free, wow!! I did noticed that if you want a design they charge an extra $50.

For the business card you printed is consider a design right? So the free is not really free if you want your own background, photo, etc...?

No, all I paid was about $7-8 shipping, I believe.

The extra charge is if you want *them* to design it, or if you want blank/designed backs. (The free backs have the site's URL.) I designed this myself.
