Default Tapping the market - Seniors, Moms, Babies, and Families

Hello,
As I start spreading my word, what are some of the strategies to market to seniors, moms, and families. I don't know a lot of people who have school going kids or lot of moms. I notified of my photography to as many families as I know. I have designed a new website, business cards, letterheads, etc. to have a uniform look and create a brand name for my services.

I am in the process of creating Facebook fan page.

Is there something I am missing?

Please advise on other things I can do to reach out to above mentioned market.

Thanks,

I've posted flyers just about everywhere around town. Supermarkets, deli's, hair salons, dance studios, bulletin boards in shopping malls, store windows, pre schools, schools. I'm just a photo whore!

Paper fliers?? How delightfully 'old school'!!

(PS, for anyone who's had a sense-of-humor-ectomy - this was meant as a joke, not a personal attack. Note the smiley face. Le sigh...)

facebook and google ads are good... just set your budget and keywords right and you will get hits.
facebook is good in that you can target specific ages and locations.
i run google ads all the time (AdWords)

i havnt had any success from a printed flyer... and they cost a bunch in comparison for what you get with online/electronic advertising

Do you mind sharing approximately how much you spend on Google adwords and Facebook ads?

I just got a couple of magnetic car door signs from Vista print plus 1000 business cards. Planning on spreading the word anyway I can.

What kind of keywords are you using? Is location and target (portrait, pets, infants, weddings, etc) enough, or are there some I might not think about?

TIA,
Anne
