Default I'm completely untalented and lazy...

Mine is pretty boring because I, too am untalented in that department. I'm enlisting the talent of a friend who is into graphic design...just waiting for him to get his new computer set up! And he's doing it for free

If I knew of a good program, and rather cheap one at that, I would play with it myself until I threw the computer out the window from frustration

I am just fickle and alway changing designs/headers on my site to suit my taste at the time. LOL

You could always go to: Logo Design, Web Design, Design Contests | 99designs.com and place a bid to get a design. Keep in mind the more $$$ you offer, the better talent you will attract.

Have you looked at etsy? I've never used it, but i did notice they offer logos on there. Maybe someone has some better insight into it.

You may wind up being the latest to get quoted here.

Just kidding....

I gave pretty much the same comment to the guy that did the logo for my business. He had me go out and find logos that I liked. That way he had an idea of what direction to go. Once he had that it only took him a few minutes to scratch out something I liked. Might help if you did the same.

I don't know what the cash fee would be. I did a headshot of his wife for her business cards in trade.
