Question Using Lightroom to Replace Photoshop Action

Since in many ways it is faster to edit in Lightroom rather than in Photoshop, I am trying to transfer the effect of my photoshop action to lightroom. My Photoshop action adds a vignette, increases the contrast and does a few other tasks. Is there anyway to transfer a Photoshop action to lightroom?

I've written a macro which selects the image in Lightroom, opens a new copy of the image in Photoshop. The macro then runs the action in photoshop and then closes the image so the new image shows up in lightroom. However, when I run this action on just 300 images, it ties up my computer all night, which is normally OK, but it would be much better if I could just make the adjustments in Lightroom.

I believe you would need to create a new preset in LR. I know of no way to convert a .atn file to a .lrtemplate file.
