Default Reunions? Large Groups

I was contacted to do a 15 year high school reunion, where they are wanting a group shot and candids throughout the evening.
i'm really torn on doing this, as for one, I was asked by a friend, so its tough to say no and then they really dont know how much, if at all they can pay.
I brought up about then what to do with the pics, and thought to use my online galleries, and letting people buy prints if they want, but ... onesie, twosie prints wont get me far at all.

so, for consideration, has anyone done reunions? what are your thoughts....

I think I will be good for the lighting, and would just bounce flash, but ive never done more than a wedding party for a group shot.

they are not looking for anything truly "professional" like a high school dance, but better than someone with just a point and shoot

its in two weeks... just dont know if i want to give up a saturday evening probono... but then, it would also be good exposure to hand out cards and flyers too...

Well, I took the job... I am taking it as a laid back shoot for candids and the exposure needed... plus it will give me an opportunity to mess with group shots hopefully the lighting is good enough for me as I really dont want to take a whole lighting set up
