Default Title

Hi

This is probably a stupid question but bear with me.

I need to know what title or description to give myself.

I am a graphic designer but as part of my work i have been taking photos to put in the leaflets, brochures, web sites etc for years and i am pretty good at it so i want to expand it and make it part of our services, and eventually drop the graphic design all together.

The problem is i would probably be more classed as a commercial photographer, but customers dont know what that is and i am getting fed up with being asked if i do weddings and kids etc.

I do a good mix of real estate (b&b's, hotesl etc), product (for catalogues), editoral/illustrative and some corporate protraits.

What would be a good description/title that would convey this information and that the customers would understand, that is not a short novel.

Any Ideas?

Not sure that there's anything wrong with "commercial photographer", but more the people you are getting your name in front of. An advertising agency will know exactly what you mean.

If you really want to put the mums and brides to be off, try "Commercial, Advertising and Corporate Photographer" or some such.

Cheers
