Question Another Q..... CDs?

Ok, I have another question... what type of CD do you use to put photos on for a customer?

Thank you in advance!

Oh my ... guess I asked for that. : )

I just didn't know if there were CDs just for photo's or if I used a regular ole data disc.
Stupid question, I know!

LOL, you're not going to believe this, but I actually have some flat AND round ones. Go figure.

OK really, sorry for the sarcasm. It really doesn't matter what type of disc you use as long as it is a good quality name brand. Let the customer worry about archival details. They should be making backups of the disc anyways. Besides, you should also have them backed up and if need be can re-burn it for them.

I spend a lil extra and use Lighscribes. Looks a heck of a lot more professional when you take a few extra minutes and do that way.
also, im thinking it might be even extra insurance on copyrights if they try to take that cd somewhere and its got my logo on the bottom

Ditto! I love lightscribe cd's. And I always put my studio name on the outside and usually one of the photographs from the shoot. I definitely think Walmart photo center would recognize that. And since it is laser etched into the disc, I don't have to worry about them peeling off the sticky label. If your computer has the ability, I say use it! The discs turn out to be less than $1 a piece so, it's really not bad.
