Sorry, I didn't make myself more clear. Yes, you can have background music with the premium Zenfolio -- which is why I prefer it over Smugmug. Haven't made my final decision yet, but leaning towards zenfolio.

I would agree, but she was asking about an amateur gallery to show off her work. Zenfolio's music can be a nice way to create a mood when friends/family are viewing your photos. There's always the option for the customer to turn it off.

Design wise I think I was able to do more when I had my smugmug account - there's more of an opportunity to insert some HTML code and customize. However, that said, zenfolio has added a lot of new features - and it's cheaper. It's the way to go for me.
