Question Wedding album

Hey guys. If there anyone out here who has done wedding photography and created an album for the client? Do you sit and put the album together yourself or do you use a company for that?

I do it myself!
It's great to make nice results with those great photos and if you let someone do it for you, you don't have the control of the outcome, so if you have time and some skills with Photoshop, I'd say you should do it yourself!

I do my photo albums and would recomend doing it yourself if you have some working knowledge of photoshop. As long as you know how to work the basics like layers youshould be right. Most printers will give you specifics on colour space, dpi and margins adn should have templates for you.

check out AsukaBook USA - Home they have some good info on how to prepare them etc, and if you sign up they have templates to download.

if you look at blurb thay have like a showcase section that i look though t get inspiration on lay outs etc if you get stuck for ideas.

hey- i have a friend that has designed albums and i have tested them out for her. she just started selling them, they are so great. i've used a lot of other photogs layouts and hers are the easiest. Design Shoppe » Carly Carlson Photography

other people that have templates are designaglow.com and dustinizatt.com

using templates makes it so easy, as long as you are printing through the company the templates are specified for. i only use kiss books so carly's work great for me.
