Default Pricing for a photo album

Hey everybody,
I have a client that wants to do boudoir photos to send her boyfriend when he deploys. She wanted to get an album of 4x6's and some wallets that he can take out when on missions.

I checked out the pricing with MPix Pro, and here is where I need help. They do 4x6 albums, but for $80. And for some reason, I am feeling guilty about charging that much.

So far, we have the sitting fee of $150 (I live in Hawaii) and that comes with free online gallery access. The sitting fee also includes traveling to Waikiki, on the opposite side of the island.

I was thinking of charging $140 for the photo album, and $30 for the wallets. The wallets are about $10 from Mpix.

Another studio here uses MPix also, but they charge $200 for the album, and $40 for the wallets.

So what I am asking is, does my price sound reasonable?

I was thinking of throwing in a free personalized thumb drive with everything.

Thank you in advance!

I hate that I always feel so guilty charging!

Maybe I should add that I needed to give her the price like, yesterday.

I am really hoping to get some help from the DPS community! Thank you in advance to anybody that can help me out!

Seems to me you know what to charge her, you're just stuck on actually pulling the trigger. You're allowed to make a profit, (this is your business after all)... it's not like you're marking up 2000%. It seems like you've done your homework and seen what competitors are charging, now you're just looking for someone to tell you to do it.

So do it!

Thanks for pushing me

I was hesitant to do so, because I know she is spending a lot of money already. I didn't know if I was charging too much for a session fee.
