Question Name help Please!

I have been trying to decide on a name for my business. I have asked everyone I know but have not found one that I love. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I have seen some other threads with some good suggestions. My main focus will be children and family portraits. I do not plan on having a studio at this time. I have had names that I liked but then a week later I do not like them. My current one is Maple Street Photography, but not sure if this will be confusing since I will not have a studio and I don't live on Maple street. lol. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Brie photography. You can have taglines like:

- we promise it won't be cheesy
- say "cheese", then have some
- smooth creamy portraits
- rich and elegant images

On a somewhat more serious note, maybe something like "Tripp the shutter", a play off your name and the action of activating the shutter on a camera.

I'd kinda go the opposite; "Say Cheese - Photography by Brie Tripp"

thank you for the suggestions. i don't want to go with "cheese" because I don't like the way it sounds. to me if something is cheesy it is not great.

Brie Tripp Photography is nice. Some names don't sound good (like mine), but yours does.

Tripp | Photography

Trip Imagery

Studio Tripp

"Tripp" is sharp and is easy to say.. so i'd go with that.
the little it i know about marketing tells me that you need to avoid words/names that are long.. but should go for names that are sharp and snappy.

"Brie" can become "Breeeeeee"

'Tripp" is fast and snappy. so whatever you choose.. have something with Tripp in it.

It seems that you're shooting down any suggestion that has to do with your name, and that's not a very good marketing tactic. A unique and memorable name is 1/2 the battle. You have a cool name, so why not use it? Generic business names (like Maple Street Photography) are silly and say nothing about you. There is a Maple Street in almost every town in America, so why align yourself with something so mundane and commonplace?

Think of it this way...you could be Barney Sipowitz or Gertrude Russelbower. Those names simply don't look good in bright lights, no matter how pretty of a logo you make.

Your name is unique, short, and memorable. Stick with that.

It sounds like your style is fun and energetic (rather than artsy). If that's the case, you want something that goes with that theme -

1. "By The Way Photography by BWT" - I don't know if you want that cuz that sounds like just by the way, but I think it's cute (well, I thought of it)

2. "Balls and Colorful Photography" - hey, I'm just throwing something out there, you wanted some suggestions. I picked up on your "fun" attitude - I could be wrong.

That's all I have right now, try it out and see what else you come up with.

Good luck!
