Arrow Stuck Thinking of a Name...HELP please!

So lately i have been thinking about how i need a name, especially if i wanted to start a business in the future. For now, i would just use it for copyrights and websites. BUT i am having a little bit of trouble with it.

I don't want a name someone else has, because that certainly wouldn't be good. And on the other hand, my name isn't too rare, so anything i come up with, i will look up, and someone out there already has it. So this is where i get stumped...

My name is Rachel Anntoinette Alexander, if that will help with ideas.

I would tremendously LOVE it if you guys gave me some really cool ideas.

Thanks!

Do you go by Rachel? or Rachel Ann? (as is your user name here)
I actually love Racehl Anntoinette...your first name may be common, but your middle is unique, so maybe you can do something with that.

You could start it with Anntoinette, like Anntoinette Photography for example, not only is your name unique but also starts with A, so looking you up under Photographers in the phone book would list you as one of the first alphabetically

I have the same problem you do, I can't think of a name, the name I have used for my scrapbooking projects was perfect but not sure if it fits photography at all... RUoriginal Designs.... R and U being my initials

With a middle name like 'Anntoinette' how can we resist thinking of French elegance and lace. Here is my interpretation;

R Antoinette

Anyone call you Toni for a nickname? If you so you could always go with Rachel T. Photography. Make people think why the T and it would be a good conversation tool to get to know the client better.

Ok, how about you starting to call yourself Toni or Tone then you can use Rachel T Photography hehe.

How about Ra Photography? First two letters of your first name.

I guess it would help if we knew what type of photography you were going to pursue. That might help us with names. Antoinette would see too formal if you were going to do pet photography or baby photography.

I totally like your idea of the whole 'being at the beginning of phone books' thing!

And i also think that the 'RUoriginal' thing is totally cool!
