Smile Want to build a website

I just recently joined this forum and havent psoted any photos yet. However, I will be starting a website soon. After doing research on how to monetize, how to get good search engine ratings and so on, my head is spinning. Should I just start building the site and keep studying procedures as I go along or just wait and keep researching? I get so much different info on who is the best web host and who has the best SEO methods, I'm not sure who to believe sometime. However, I don't think I will have a problem with content.
Any Suggestions??

Thanks

Hosting doesn't matter toooo much. I recommend bluehost a lot! SEO methods are simple. Just write good, solid content and keyword. Do not try to short cut things! It will only harm you. A big thing is linking to other sites, don't keep it bundled to yourself!

If you wait and "study" too much you'll never get anything done as things change online so quickly. Like bdbolin said, you have to write good content over and over and over and over....

Check the next message after this one. I just posted a link to two articles I wrote. Third one to follow.

In a nutshell, use decent software, get inbound links from good sites and write good content and you're in business.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Yet. Basically, I started blogging in earnest a few weeks ago and am now getting decent (low traffic and some good comments.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I think I will move foward. I think I am sweating too much small stuff. I'll never get to where I want to be until I take the first step

Oh, I also recommend not using any sort of Flash... it doesn't SEO as well.

Wix = no no. In every way. Just do a bit of research. WIX IS BAD!
