Conventions or large photographer get togethers

I have been wondering for some time on if any of you go to coventions for photography? If so can you let me in on where you go and what they offer. Do you think it is a good investment.


Also me and my husband are curios as when you knew it was time to do this full time if you do and what steps you took to do so.

A major photo retailer in Ontario has a series of shows in major centres here every year. CHeap tickets. We get booths from all the major manufacturers, there are instructive tutorials and representatives from all the companies both locally and internationally.

Its a great way to spend an afternoon.

I would love to attend a seminar or something it would be very informative and especially if there are incentives and freebies
I live in Indiana so if anyone has ideas for something in nearby states let me know or websites too.

I have just been networking online and searching a lot online for ways to connect with ohter photogs. This past week I was able to attend a free Photo Expo at a Community College and then I took an inexpensive class through PPA.
