Default HAH!! Even my friends know I don't mess around!

... just happened the other day, funny story.

A friend hired a photographer for his business photos for their website, it was a friend of a friend thing.

I look at him and said, "Hey, what the hell?! No call to me?"

He looks me right in the eye and says with a smirk, "Yea, but you cost money!"

I've trained them well

Hah hah that's some good training. However the challenge is training them to hire you because they don't want crappy images.

That's too funny........sometimes, it works that way, a friend of a friend. Don't they know that if the photos are for their website, they need great photography to sell their services and products?

Today I just picked up a contract for the Port of Bremerton (POB) to shoot their various locations: airport, Port Orchard and Bremerton Marinas as well as businesses at the Industrial complex. The Communication manager was approached by the POB's executive director and given the tasks of updating their website and told her, "Don't worry about photography, I have a friend who's a photographer. She asked, "Was this friend of yours ever employed as a photojournalist?" "If not, I know just the person to hire and he's worth every penny."

It's amazing what length folks like go through in order to save money. When your product is on the line, great photography will make your site look more professional.

You'll get a call in a week from that friend: asking you to re-do it.

Turns out it was a giant joke to them, they don't give a crap about good photos. They got their junk and that's what they wanted. He even told me that if they "cared" they would have called me.

*shrug*

No loss and we are still friends.

Sick burn. At least they know who to come to when they actually care, and the didn't waste your time so to speak.
