Question Posters, CD covers, Flyers, etc.

I have been approached by a friend that is an aspiring rap artist. He has requested things like CD covers, posters, and flyers. Is there any professional printing services that provide those type of quality items? I have looked at Mpix, which I use for other printing need but this time I may need something different. Any recommendations DPS?

I would assume you would need to use a commercial printer, as although these are not standard sized items as in photograph sizes so labs wouldnt really print them, also the paper they would have in stock would be for photographs. Bear in the mind the higher the quantity the print run the cheaper it is overall. Low quantity print runs will cost you. Maybe think about printing them your self?

So, you think it would be cheaper to print them myself? I don't have a printer that prints poster size.

Is he pressing the CDs himself? If he's using a service to print the CDs, they usually have a package which includes printing the inserts.

Posters and flyers can be done by any decent print service.

Do you access to a local print shop? If so, you might be better off that way. Of course, what BCampbell stated, if he's using a service to press the CDs they usually can offer a complete package.

I had a little trouble at first until I noticed your spelling...lol

This is similar to zenfolio. Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see where they do posters and cd covers...
