I was trying to get a female Cardinal, I saw this morning. All I got was her shadow as she flew away. I think it came out as a good mistake.

This is the frozen fountain at the FDR Memorial here in Washington, DC. This week has taught me how hard it is to photograph snowy stuff under nasty yellow city lights.

It's an old Wine Tower next to a old castle, which then went on to become Kinnaird Head Lighthouse (1st one in Scotland)
