Since the snow has covered the ground outside and I seem to lack any purple around the house, I'll share one from last summer. Maybe it will make all of you in the northern hemisphere feel warmer!

Looking around all I had were purple onions, then leaves with purple in them so I got out my old piece of black velvet and took the picture. I tried new settings on my camera - so it was a good assignment! EXIF on Flickr
