I have two that I think work. The first is an extreme use of the technique where I have de-focused the shot to create a colourful background abstract of the fall leaves outside my window. The second is of a bride and groom the focus with short depth of field show the groom in the distance but not in focus.

Default Not for contest

Too old but just loved the bokeh on this! I shot this at my MIL's house. She has an amazing yard, FULL of vines, flowers, etc. The bokeh was from a wall of vines where the sun was poking through.
