Mine doesn't qualify for the assignment because I took it on the 8th, but I thought I would make this my first post I just bought my Canon XTi, and am just getting started in photography. All my other point and shoot cameras were way too slow to catch anything like this.

Yes - but edit your posting to include "Assignment: Water" if you want it included in consideration for the weekly round up.

Here's a go:

Drop on Screen

This is a droplet of water on one of the screens in my office. I was trying to take some other pics with some water in a glass, and they were coming out like shyte, so I threw the water out the window, thinking I'd try again later. And then I saw how the drops were clinging to the screen and thought...hmm...let's go with that.

With all the proper info included. I like learning new stuffs.

If your using photoshop, don't use 'save for the web'. Instead go to the Image menu, Mode, the select 8 Bits/Channel. You can then just Save As and select jpeg as your format (with your Exif data intact).

I'm using PhotoDraw, unfortunately, but what you suggested does give me an idea! I really should stop being too lazy to learn Photoshop.

Update: It takes about .2 seconds to do in Photoshop, as I have just learned. Which makes me feel lots better about spending the morning trying to figure out another way to do it.
