I was out walking through the City of Rochester with my photography group. We were walking from one gallery to another gallery. This man stopped me. He was just a street person walking down the street with his bag of cans. He surprised me by asking me to take his pic. I took it quickly. I could smell the alcohol coming off of his breath, and I was very glad that one of the guys from my group was right there. It is my first posting to DPS assigments. Hope I have done it correctly * ![]() ![]() Taken on July 3, 2009 at 6.35pm PDT Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire Last edited by starbaby3; 07-08-2009 at 12:45 AM. I was at the Marietta, GA 4th of July Parade staging area and saw this Vietnam Vet. They are unfortunately a historically misunderstood group of veterans who sacrificed much for freedom and our country. The sacrifice and scars of war are evident in this portrait.
