I have just read the next assignment -
"Next week: A mistake. You've taken a photo, you were rushing, you hadn't checked your settings, SNAP, it came out all wrong - but you like it." Does this mean that you want photos that fall outside of the traditional 2 week photo period "I'm sure we've all got a whole hard drive full of these - let's see your best MISTAKE." - stuff off the hard drive implies archives (?). or Are you suggesting that we abandon the principles of good photography and attempt to take rubbish shots? I am perplexed. I can't seem to find the value of such an assignment in learning something new. Any clarification would be useful. Thanks.

I had thought about taking a picture of one of my family members. Then my wife reminded me that, as the household photographer, there aren't too many pictures of me around. Quite frankly, I like it that way. No need to go wreckin' an expensive lens with my mug. But I figured I'd take the risk anyway.
