Hi Moderators - just a quick question from a real newbie - I posted a pic on the assignment thread last night and it was not there this morning so I posted it again. Did I do something wrong when I posted it - or has it just not been approved yet?

Cheers and thank you DPS for an amazing site and newsletter - I have learned so much in such a short time.

If you are relatively new to the site your posts can sometimes be accidentally picked up by the automoderator. It is a pain because it makes things less welcoming than they should be but, on the other hand, it does also catch a LOT of spam, including dodgy links and sometimes images that most people don't want to see when they come to DPS!

I've tidied through the assignment, releasing the moderated posts and removing duplicates. If your post doesn't show up immediately, the moderators can still see it, so don't worry about being missed.

I have a flikr acct, but don't have anything over there yet. I use photobucket, but most of my stuff is on smugmug. Testing to see how big a "medium" image from smugmug posts here.
