Where are the results? Do you post the winners' names in the assignment thread? I wish to see winners of past assignments.

They get posted on the blog the weekend after the contest closes. There is a list that gets updated from time to time but the list of winners is several months behind. If you want to help filling the gaps you are welcome to summarise and post a reply which one of the moderators can integrate into the post at the start of the thread.

For that too I will need to see the winners' names somewhere. Are all the past winners on the blog? I could not find even the last assignment (costumes) winners. Link please...

rajpradhan, if you go onto the blog and search for assignment then you will find them. Although here is a quick link

The winners are announced on a Sunday and the assignments open on a Wednesday.

Thanks IainH. It would help if the blog has a link to the actual post (for winning entries) in the contest thread.

I agree that the shots should be specific to the assignmengt, but as long as they fall within the timeframe, I'd still be OK with a library shot. I also like Wulf's thoughts on their participation. I would not want them excluded entirely, as I personally learn a lot from their participation. Like how to participate in a beach theme with you live in the mid-west.

Hi there,
maybe I'm a bit daft, but where, if you do another mini assignment, does one post the pictures here in the forum?!

Thanks

Do you mean if you take a picture for an older assignment? You can post onto the end of the assignment thread - the contest has a short life span but we keep the assignments open until we run another on the same theme.
