![]() This is my first forum post and assignment entry. This image was not post-processed in any way - not even cropped! It is a picture of a landscape reflected in water where there were several intersecting ripple patterns from two nearby fisherwomen, one who had just casted and one who had just caught a small bass. I love the kaleidoscopic and 3-dimensional effect and think it really created a textured look to the water. Date Taken: October 4, 2008 Camera: Pentax Optio MX4 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60 Aperture: f4.6 Flash: Not Used |

![]() This building is right outside my office. I rode by it last week and then remembered the assignment. So, I found texture. More then enough. Here's more pictures of the building, but this one is the nicest for this assignment. I forgot the exif info: Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15) Aperture: f/13 Focal Length: 40 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV Last edited by snahamap; 10-08-2008 at 04:58 PM. Reason: added info |

![]() Was your shot from a pond or lake with a gentle breeze? Mine wasn't ripples from something thrown into the water but just natural surface turbulence. I see you also had a similar shutter speed (1/60s / 1/50s), which is probably a good starting point for anyone else wanting to try it. Wulf Wulf |

Here's my contribution to the assignment... Nothing to beat the "texture" of the printing on currency...
