Default Assignment: Feet

This week's assignment is "Feet". There can be many interpretations for this one, too.
Some examples here.
Here is my take on the subject, "Snakeskin on Concrete":
Day 67 threesixtyfive "Snakeskin on Concrete" (by saralonde)

A review of the rules might be helpful:

1. The image you submit should be taken between June 18 (when it was announced) and July 2 (up until one of the moderators closes the the mini-contest).

2. EXIF data needs to be intact. It helps if you can include the main points (including camera, lens, date taken, ISO, shutter speed and aperture) in the text of your message.

3. Your post must include "Assignment: Feet" to show your permission to count it for the contest.

4. Only one entry per member (if you can't restrain yourself until the end of the first week you can post two or three separate pictures but your entry should be in a separate post and the only marked with the text above).

For everyone, please do not repeat other people's photos by quoting them until the contest is over. If you want to comment on or discuss an entry you can use a link to it (or just delete the picture from the quoted text).

Next week's assignment? Let's try "Sense of Scale". This is another way to practice your compositional skills. You can create a sense of scale in your photograph by using different angles, perspective, and the relationship of your subject to other objects in your shot. Check halfway down this page for some info.

Smile Not for assignment

This is to old for this assignment, but I thought I'd share it with you anyway... Feet are almost my favorite thing to photograph.

I hope you like them... I am on a mission to get something really great this time!

I took this picture more than a month ago so I'm just sharing it here. It's the feet of a statue which stood around a fountain in Prague.

Default Assignment: Feet

I was a little challenged for models on this one. The wife wouldn't volunteer, and mine aren't that attractive. So, being an engineer I asked an innocent question.

Does your sewing machine have multiple "foot attachments?" She pulled out about a dozen, I'm sure they're all useful for something.
