Default Christmas

Well it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in my part of the world.

Hot weather, BBQ's, going to the beach......

I love doing that because it freaks some of you northern hemisphere folk out a little.

This assignment is to post your 'Christmas images'.

Show us what Christmas means to you.
Show us how you celebrate (or don't celebrate) it
Take pictures of Christmas lights, presents, food, fun

Take it in whatever direction you'd like!

They were decorating this tree in downtown Worthington, OH with a cherry-picker. Unfortunately, my lens isn't a fast one, and it was very dark. Most of the shots came out way blurry...

...and Christmas doesn't begin in our house until the kids are finally allowed to open the sweet tins that husband has been bribing them with for ages!!

Which is your favourite?

Default My Son's pic

I know I posted my pic before but I had to add my son's too . He is a little young for forums but I do allow him a flickr account with supervision.

He took this pic last night, he is a junior photographer at age 9. He really enjoys it and when I give him a few minutes on the computer he always wants to look at his flickr site.

Here is what he captured:

My Christmas tree

If you have any interest you can have a look at his pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62586786@N00/

You'll get a kick out of the way he captions his images.

Sadly apartment life affords one little opportunity to go Clark W. Griswald on lights.
