Default A Study in Polarizing

I took these three pictures this morning. I used a Cokin polarizing filter in three positions for the same shot. What do you think of the results?

Polarized:

2 Lillies Polarized

Partially Polarized:

2 Lillies Partially Filtered

Unfiltered:

Reflections on 2 Lillies

Englishteacher- I fully prefer the first picture, the polarized one. I think it's because it makes the water such a solid black.

Cool. Out of curiosity, where was this taken? The colors are incredible! The slanted horizon bothers me a bit ... causes a bit of disorientation.

Default my first entry

Hi Everyone, This is my first entry on here, looks like a great place to learn!

This shot was taken on an overcast day in Colorado while I was fishing with a Canon 30D with a 28-105mm lens (i have since switched to a Nikon D200), with a 2x and a 4x nd filters and a Hoya Mooses Polarizer with a 15 second exposure and only edited in ps camera raw.
