Ok im sorry about this very late assignment... we still gonna keep on track as far as times go so this week we miss a day...
i couldnt get in to the site yesterday i know Darrens behind the scene team are working on it so bare with us... im thinking the influx of members is having a small roll in the troubles... anyways seasons.. yes not matter what season your in... we want to see it ... something screams summer!! or winter! mine is obvious Winter!! ![]() Don't forget to tag your entry with "assignment: Seasons" if you'd like it considered for the weekly mini competition. Exif data should still be intact if you wish to participate in the mini contest.... also the image in question should be taken with in the 30th Jan - 13th Feb 2008 next weeks assignment will be Straight from the camera , So NO post processing except fro cropping and resizing for our 600px longest side guideline

No pics yet, as I just found the assignment. It is interesting to think about the seasons and our limited points of view. I live in NW Florida, and we will have thousands of Spring Breakers visiting our beaches in three weeks. Pine Tree pollen is already falling and covering our windshields. Temps yesterday, were in the upper 70's F. For me, the current season is early spring, but spring here, doesn't mean new leaves on trees or flowers blooming. Our leaves stay on year round, and the Oaks shed some leaves in the Spring. Our wild flowers begin blooming in the Fall, (Nov). So, when I do post my photo, you will likely think I'm confused, which might be the case, but I do know my season.
![]() Still haven't figured out how to maintain my EXIF when reducing image, so if someone wants to help me out in that specific thread, I have a post or two in there... Seasons Greetings!
