Default Minimalism

[Taken from the blog...]"One piece of advice I still remember from my high school photography teacher is this: “make your subject the strongest point of your photo even though it might take up only a small part of the overall image” ...When I’m attempting to take a photo with a minimalist feel to it I keep those words in mind.

Here is a great piece written by Japaslavian, a DPS member. This will give you a great insight into "what the heck is minimalism" see it HERE...Thanks for this, Jeff!

My Attempt:
black, no sugar
Don't forget to tag your entry with "assignment:minimalism" if you'd like it considered for the weekly mini competition.

Exif data should still be intact if you wish to participate in the mini contest.... also the image in question should be taken with in the 16th Jan - 30th Jan 2008

Next weeks assignment will be : eyes [any eyes, just eyes]

Default Assignment Minimalism

Assignment: Minimalism

First cab off the rank?

Next week's assignment seems ironic since this is my photo for minimalism.
