The recent "Urban Decay" got me thinking. What about Rural Decay.

Old barns, farm equipment, etc.

Old barns are one of my favorite things to shoot. I know this would be difficult for some since not everyone lives near any rural farm land, but I think it'd be fun.

How about "numbers" - but with a twist... for example twisted branches that make the number 4, or photo abstraction of stair rails that make a 7...

Default Camera Toss

I was browsing through the web of photography and came across a site that had a very very interesting idea - called "camera toss". Yeah, you have to point your camera at a light source and toss it into the air and catch it... Results appear to be amazing.

The source of the article/idea is here

Why don't we have our own DPS 'camera toss' assignment? It's going to be a "different" and fun assignment and it should be easy to do this, considering Christmas lights everywhere at this time of the year.

Careful - don't break your cameras... and don't come behind me if you did :P

That was the one we called Kinetics. The contest is over but you can still contribute photos to the assignment. Don't drop your camera though!
