I think you are looking in the wrong place. The link below has all of the winners up to "Schoool Days" which was right before "7 Deadly Sins".

Have a look.

Suggested challenge assignment, re-creation. Find a photo in a magazine or newspaper & re-create it, especially the lighting. Both photos would need to be submitted and some might now have the equipment to do this.

How about "cramped"... as in "cluttered"? It does leave a lot to the imagination

Signs, Roads or Streets, Construction (and demolition), Motion (anything moving), Windows or doors (any entrance), lights (of any kind, inside, outside), wheels (anything with wheels), stairs (inside or outside), Animals, Indoors (any subject with indoor lighting), Homes, People (not portraits), Flags.

Avoid abstract subjects, keep it objective and to things everyone has around them. Encourage picture taking rather than picture making and let the photographer make of it what they will. Others will learn (the purpose of the web site), and the moderators can choose from a variety of great styles.

Also avoid anything seasonal, specific to a certain time in a certain place. This is a world forum. Spring, School, etc., doesn't occur at the same time for everyone.

I love to buy cook books, but I never buy one if they don't have beautiful pictures that make you feel you can eat the dish. So what about food, but really yummy and provocative shoots not just an apple or and orange

I've not read all the replies, or done all the assignments, so I'll hope you forgive me if its already been done: "hurry shots"

These are the kind of shots you really don't get a chance to compose (more than a few seconds) or set up in a studio or staged with models.
