For me its Nikon d40x with a 18-55 and a 55-200 lenes, x4 Nikon macro filter
My editing software: Photo-shop Cs 4, light-room. i also have Nikon's software which I don't care for much

I am VERY new to photography as a whole. I have of course had point and shoot cameras in the past, but have recently gotten a DSLR. It is not nearly as scary as it looks, and if you spend a bit of time on sites like this one, you can learn quickly and become much more creative in your photography.

I started with a Rebel XT and now own that and a 30D. Next camera will hopefully be a 7D or a 1 series.

I used to use a Canon Powershot S3 IS but now I mostly use my Nikon D5000.
