Buying US branded camera in the UK

I've been looking at the canon 450D camera, and have seen ia new model advertised on ebay for £429, with the lowest I've seen it elsewhere being £490. The only snag is that it appears to be american branded, are there going to be any compatibility issues using it in the UK?

Partially to bump this post, and also to add some more information.

I've spoken to the seller. He says there won't be any compatability issues. It comes with a Canon manufactuers one year international warrenty as well.

Anything I should be weary of or should I go ahead and buy the camera given that its such a good deal?

You might need extra charge while warranty issues, you should take the risk.
