Smile Trying to chose between cameras

I am in the market for another DSLR camera and my choices I am looking at are the following: Canon EOS 7D 18.0 MEG DSLR Camera and the Nikon D7000. I do a lot of sports photography (soccer, basketball, football, baseball & softball). I have a D5000 right now and want a second camera to go along with it. Which one of these would be better for what I do.

Thanks,

Do you have many lenses for your Nikon?
Do want to use both systems or just stay with one?

I have 3 Nikon lenses. I have an 18 - 55, 50 - 200 & 70 - 300 lens for my Nikon D5000. I would go with the two different cameras if the Cannon is a better one to get for sports photography.

You're kinda sorta comparing apples and oranges: the 7D compares more to Nikon's D300s, but the Nikon is considerably older. Nikon is expected to come out with a replacement for it in the near future.

The D7000 compares more to the Canon 60D

Right now I'd say go with the 7D...but that may change quickly/frequently (Nikon vs Canon)... Really, I suggest you get the system you like the best, feels the best, and "works for you".

I'm a Nikon user, but for sports I think Canon tends to generally hold a small edge in capability/cost/availability.
