Please advice me for camera

Hi all,

i have planned to buy Nikon P500 digital camera today. is it worth for buying this camera. i have used canon digital cameras but am not much satisfied with quality.

please any one help me if u using this P500, is it good to buy this camera and how about the picture quality.

If you need a long zoom camera, then yes it's worth it. If you're looking at image quality even semi-seriously, then no, it wont.

Among the DSLR-like cameras, the P500 is a well respected camera.
It has the widest available lens on a compact camera, together with a huge x36 zoom.
If you know what to expect in terms of compact cameras image quality in general,
you could end up liking this camera very much.
However, if you will try to use it indoors, shooting moving subjects while zoomed in,
your images will turn out either blurry or noisy - so know its limitations before buying.
