Default Decision?

I am upgrading from my Nikon D5000 and I am torn between the T1i and Nikon D90. I have completed some research but I would like some more first hand knowledge.

The T1i would be a sidestep (more of a downgrade, actually) while the D90 would only be a change in ergonomics: imaging is the same.

Want to upgrade? Get a D7000.

I was looking at the D7000. Just for right now it is out of my budget.

You could also pick up a used d300 for about the same as a d90.

How does that compare up with the D90?

THe D5000, D90 and D300/D300s all use the same sensor and processor: the images will be exactly the same across all bodies. What changes is other body-related specs and features

If you have a Nikon stay with Nikon, unless you plan on getting all new lenses as well.

Yeah true, I may just hold out for the D7000. Is it possible their may be a sale on it or price drop soon?
