Default Nikon D90 + Sb700

Ok. Im using the D90 in commander mode e3 and the sb700 is on remote to fire. Is there a way to make the sb700 fire and not see the build in flash of the camera? Only way I see it is lowering the setting of the build in flash to the lowest power and making the sb700 max power.

If you turn your camera flash to -- in the off camera flash settings where you set the power of your SB-700 it should minimise it. You can't turn it totally off because that's what triggers your flash, but unless you're shooting something reflective it won't show up.

It shouldnt show. If you're really paranoid you can use a Nikon SG3-IR.
