Default waterproof/adventure compact cameras

Anyone have any experience with the Pentax Optio WG-1 camera? I'm looking for a good underwater camera that can also go mountain climbing with me - and be taken into places that might be a bad place for better equipment.

Unfortunatey there seems to be nothing designed with a larger sensor - but I saw the optio wg-1 at yodobashi camera, looked like it might be an "ok" choice - but im not sure. Do you know of any other options?

I have reservations about the panasonic line. I got a TS1 and Canon D10 when they released a few years ago to test. The D10 was by far the better performer image quality wise.
