Nikon D5100 DSLR, DX, AF, VR, SDHC...

Hey Hey!

I just bought my new Digi cam, its a Nikon 5100 which just resently came out, has the 2nd largest mpx tied with the D700 @ 16.2. it has a 1.5x crop factor. I was wondering if anyone else has one of these? I won't get to use it for over a month because im shipping it to my house in the states and i won't be going on R&R until later. However me and the wifey are going to Puerto Rico for a week so that will be fun. we rented a beach house and everything

so i had some questions about the camera if anyone has used it. there is some information that wasn't real clear about it.

Does it have mirror lock up?
does it do time lapsed photography?
can i use a remote shutter trigger?

well thats about it. The reason i chose this camera by the way was because i only had a $1000 budget and i was able to get this one with a 18-55mm 55-200mm and a tripod a SDHC 16gb card, uv filters and more. so it was a good deal.

thanks for your help. However, you might want to just get used to my poor spelling and grammer. It's not my strong point, and I really don't care about it. Thanks for noticing though

No offence, but coming into a forum, being new, and telling others to "deal with you S***" is immature and will actively make you enemies.

im not trying to argue with you. if the spell check doesn't tell me ive spelled something wrong im sorry. I have never been good at spelling or grammar so please forgive me. I always correct misspellings so i don't know what else you want from me

First off, it's offense, so before you go and tell someone to fix their spelling you should really have your ducks in a row. Second, the sooner you realize that you aren't the forum sheriff the better off you will be. You bitch about other people's attitudes and it seems like you are the only one with one. You keep telling people (including myself) that no one will help people when they act the way they do (paraphrasing of course) and yet, you are the only person who seems to get these "attitudes" you keep crying about.
